Stronger Crisis Response Through Local NGOs and Community Inclusion

Avatar: Official contribution Official contribution

Young people said that making a list or map of local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) could help national authorities to quickly connect with trusted, on-the-ground responders during crises. These organisations, along with youth groups, local community hubs, and local religious groups, are already active in their communities and can respond quickly. Staying connected with them can make emergency responses faster, more inclusive, and more focused or tailored to what people really need. Do you agree? What additional steps could the EU take to improve emergency response?
